He is the right Guy! For Example – some People dumped two electric Fans at my Work. So… I repaired them. It's hot in my Home now – so I installed these two Fans right there – and now it's rather pleasant – even with me residing right under the Roof. And it didn't cost me anything.

I got an iPad Air 2 (what I’m typing on right now) and a 2007 iMac. Both fully work with no problems. I’ve found more but these are the most notable.

That is the reason why I never throw out my old electronics. I still have my first ever smartphone – samsung galaxy s4 – all the way back from 2013 – in my cupboard and it's still fully working and in perfect condition

I keep my old devices as long as I can, but it's difficult. Either the OS gets so bloated the devices are useless or the battery fails and is hard to replace. As I write this, I am using an All-In-One PC from 2012. It works fine, but is sometimes sluggish. Windows Update take hours on this unit (designed for Windows 7) compared to minutes on my newer desktop PC.
Herb Grosch said long ago, "No matter how clever the hardware boys are, the software boys will always piss it away." That's part of the problem: operating systems and software keep getting bigger and bigger, which end up crippling perfectly good devices over time. The faster hardware masks the bloated the software.

I'm going to add this for anyone interested.

Don't throw away those old rubber soccer balls, that were used in soccer games in the late 1960s, 1970s.
    Yes, I said rubber.
Many of these old rubber soccer balls can be worth hundreds $$$, but they have to be "game balls"
If anyone out there has old rubber soccer ball, that are flat and very worn, same thing, don't toss them out just yet.
    Here's the breakdown….
    they must be rubber
    they must be full size
they should be very worn and have been used in games
they should not have any dry rot.
They do not need to retail air.
Essentially, the older the ball and the more it was used, the more it can be worth.
This can be an easy trash to treasure for those that still have these old beat up things….
Who would have thought these would be worth anything?

If anyone out there has one of these old things, I'd like to talk with you.

Sadly there are those who would only sell for three times the original price in some old things if they cannot get that, they'd trash it, and I mean with an axe so no one can "Make money" from it.
for this reason, I kept my old Commodore C64s, and an Amiga 500, as well as some old Pentium PC's because they still worked when I stopped using them.
over the years my father added to them with parts and units given to him because his old mates knew I was into them.
while there is little use for these now and time has not been good to these old things, I still keep them and tinker in the hope to revive the dead ones, in case one day I find someone who wants them and will want them as much I did.
plus there is the fact that much of the metals in ewaste can pollute the environment over time and that makes land fill a legacy we really do not want to leave behind

I began salvaging old electronics in the 70s. I still do. Cell phone repair is not easy but, with your videos, I do the best I can.

Here's why there should be a law like this: working e-waste should never be allowed to be thrown out. Instead, it should be required to be sold, turned back into the manufacturer, or even donated to charity.
