@Trohawkk
That dude is in a bad place. You can look on the surface, but there's a lot of going on there. All the best, buddy.
@zeiku738
Hey can’t even afford accountability
@garretttallman2266
Door dash helped me buy a house in 2020 before covid lol that extra 20k in one year made a big difference to the financial department at the bank lol
@braceyourselvesfortruth2492
This guy is such an expert in how hard his own life is.
@seahawksfan4204
I did doordash most of 2020 and damn those weekly paychecks were 3 or 4 thousand for just 40 hours. Now it's pretty bad pay overall though
@AceManning18
At some point, I'm starting to believe some of your guests. Why have people on who SO clearly have no desire to listen to you in any way? Or help themselves besides whining for someone to do it for them? It's pointless. This sack of blood and muscle wants to argue, be seen as a victim, and have people throw money at him.. that's it.
Having people on like this constantly just makes it seem like all you're interested in is controversial, crazy ass episodes instead of actual people who want to help their situation and are willing to change their lives and work harder.
Idk. And yes, I do think you can tell pretty well who is actually going to listen to your advice and who isn't. You might not be able to voice those reasons because people are sensitive, but we all know what the signs are.
@platgeslagengehaktbal
Uber is very particullar, there are lot of factors that determine your profit, when those factors are in your favor you make money but if they're not you won't.
@shyvanadragongape3821
I’m not in a good position but holy fuck. Working at five guys would and keeping your head down would literally make you more money…. (And I’m only saying this bc he worked at five guys and mentioned that he got fired bc he tried to correct some of their working habits)
Five guys sucks the way they operate suck BUT still you gotta go for the W
@flamesna4938
Uber n the other app your not making money they only one is the app
@cooperhill6054
He did it years after it was suggested to him. Back then it was viable, but it was too low for him to concider.
@1232hdh
This the guy who sent death threats to governor abbot 😂. Ima make him deliver my dinner
@AlecGalicia
My friend in San Diego used to survive off of DoorDash etc but it’s gotten so much worse over the last year. Honestly the only way to it is if you’re somehow in a good area or doing something like that NYC bike dude. Amazon Flex is way better (but also way more strict and there are shift bots).
@krazyworld6433
Making 3k per month…. bro if I made that much id be living in luxury
@KMD2020
Roll the clip lol
@fernandomoncada1122
Nah you prolly lied or exaggerated in the first place
@jeremystern1471
You can buy 3 Ford mavericks with $80,000 and still have $2,000
@fireworkstarter
He went from a slightly annoyed bartender to one of those people to take dkstance from on the street
@ErbBetaPatched
I did Doordash and Grubhub during the pandemic (Grubhub pays a lot better btw) and it was a consistent $20 an hour after gas, and I basically didnt have to pay taxes on it because of all the write offs I got to do for it. I dont even live in a large city, and I even avoided areas like downtown or the college areas because the stress of navigating and finding parking in those areas wasnt worth the extra money. On holidays like the 4th of july I could make $300 in an afternoon.
Nowadays its likely different, but to all the people saying that these delivery or rideshare apps are break-even or extremely underpaid: if they were, people wouldn't do them. Theyd just go do part time jobs that pay more.
@Xastir
My dad makes close to 80k a year doing Uber doing rides so there’s def money to be made Uber eats kinda sucks some days better than others but Uber rides is where it is
@jwlsngold5026
With every delivery, this dude is stuffing his face, obviously! 🫣
@Br0ken_Rob0ts
There are many factors into making doordash profitable. My method does sacrifice some speed but i get 50-80 miles per gallon on my late 70s 50cc moped, i do most of the repairs myself and learn new things because of it.
Because im not running around in a car, every 5 dollars in i can get back 15-25 back, which i admit goes right into my gas tank on my RV. My expenses are mainly two stroke oil 15$/quart and random parts around 40$ each and if i really need it, I can buy a whole new engine for around 600 tops so i know i should save 600 minimum for emergency savings. But thats not including other bills, for the RV i should get a lot more.
@NoMorePandasss
The level of integrity and the willingness to own mistakes sets this channel apart.
@lewasil
BRINT (whatever for the name BRINT😂😂) he just HAD to prove Caleb wrong. You all know he is vindictive! This dude is scary. I don't blame them for needing the pat down and security guard on deck! I don't even think mental help would help this dude. He has a personality disorder that is likely not reversible. Yes, I am a doctor! No, I'm not, lol. I wonder what the threatening emails said. 😢😢😮😮
@BP-or2iu
He's not losing money on 3-4000 a month.
@BP-or2iu
It's truly hard to believe this is an actually person. I truly wonder what he's like throughout the day. I would love to see just how he interacts on a final, everyday basis with the people he knows.
@loganbford9478
Does not cost $4000 to drive a car
@lunchboxluchador47
Best money I ever made was doing Uber and Lyft. But you can't just sit and wait around for rides. Also the time of day makes a difference.
@Glidrz
Its profit but its not enough in many cases especially cause a large percentage of the profit is for the car and other things
@fathomgathergood7690
It works if you are short on cash but its not going to replace a full time job.
@esteban8532
imagine this guy at 18, how annoying he was
@rkvonack701
I've been doing uber for about a year and it typically equates to 30 an hour if u do rides and 20 an hour if u do food and then u have to subtract maybe like 20 bucks a day on gas. Its very helpful to have to make extra money when you need it. I just do it part time though. If u know how to maintain your car or have a friend who does it helps out a lot too
@AndrewHadi07
If people arent making profits.. They will left it because they cant survive.. 🤨
@user-zq8ou2ux4z
OK just to set it straight. I did this type of thing for quite a while and the costs every night were about $12 in gas that’s it. Oh yeah $20 extra a month but I made over $150 a night.
@user-zq8ou2ux4z
You absolutely can make that kind of money on Uber and DoorDash and GrubHub if you work 10 hours a day five days a week two days off, you could do it no problem
@Cyan1d3.0c3aN
This guy's bandana is just so fucking funny
@Chamberz55
This guy suggggggggs.
@theguy0526
It really depends on where you live. Probably bad advice if he is rural, but otherwise, idk 🤷
@ClericMitsu
Please never bring him back. The full episode was so unenjoyable
I started the episode in a happy good mood and ended just miserable
Please, please please never again.
@aichicanadian
if uber is paying you 4000$ a month… how could you be losing money. unless you are literally driving a tank…
@ForOrchestra
He’s odd but he has a point
@joshuaolson1437
Relying on people tipping you is never a good idea
@BearPig
There is no possible way to lose money if you’re making 3-4k / m on Uber eats
Literally impossible
@CalebsAquarium
That might be the only statement i agree with this crazy dude on. I looked into doing doordash/ubereats as a side job in the afternoons and decided it was not worth it because of the gas and wear on the vehicle compared to what I was making. After those expenses, I might have made 15/hr with good tips. I could go mow someone's yard and make more than that. Now, if you are in a big city and do like that one dude in DC does on a bike, maybe it would be worth it.
@DoGvenomAYD
Was making great money at the beginning then Uber and Doordash tanked base pay
@KitanaDenton
How is he losing that amount of money?
@mitchsona
guy pisses me off
@thecameraman835
That's pretty good money for just delivering food
@dcnik
There’s no way he’s making 3-4k a month Uber and losing money. No shot in hell it costs more than 4k a month to operate as an Uber delivery driver.
@Shadow-sh1mp
It is profitable considering you can now do pay by time which is just they’ll give u a set 10-25$/hr (depending on how hot the zone around u is and how the orders are going near you) and even if u don’t get a single order and sit in a plaza parking lot on your phone you get payed there’s so many ways to make money
@_Jump_Man_
That guy is destined to be a loser forever
