Found your channel the other day, really like your transparency. I currently buy and resell as a side hustle along with my regular job, have a TikTok account where I document/do money making challenges and currently have 6k followers, the creator fund is going to get me back on the grind I think, would be nice to get another income even if it does fluctuate loads, I don't ever on intending on making it my full time gig too.

I stopped posting on my tiktok account. Not because I was doing bad. I was averaging £30 to £100 a day which I know isn't amazing but working full time it was a nice side income. I found myself becoming too obsessed with checking my account all the time and editing videos when I should have spent more time with my family. I respect how well you've done dude and I will give it another try. I just need to balance my time with it more.

last year in November my rpm was 80p, now it’s less than a single penny which is absurd ( this happened because I video I posted that got 40 million views had a 60% Filipino audience)

Gaming creator here: I have never had my RPM drop below $0.70 on my USA account. However, my two UK accounts—one with 100k followers and another with 40k—both had an RPM of £0.01 in December. I created a USA account, worked hard for a month to reach 10k followers, and have never had an issue with the RPM dropping. If a video has over 50% USA views and a 30% watch time, I get an RPM of $1.15. I haven't posted on my UK account since May 2024, so I don't know if the RPM has increased. I can now make roughly $1,500 per month from my TikTok account by posting only 30 videos a month never got round to posting 60 however when i do go over like 40 videos it does drop rpm even though analytics stay good. Back in November, my RPM on the UK account dropped from £1 to £0.80, which sucks because every day I was hoping for it to go back up, but instead, it kept dropping. Maybe TikTok has improved it would be nice because i have 3 accounts. I'm not even cheating the system with my videos. Anyway, like you, I'm trying to grow on YouTube.

Really appreciate your transparency around the difference in monetisation strategies. I started out as a TikTok follower but find I watch your content more on the tube now than TikTok as I can have it on in the background while doing other stuff

15:53 jev is always my example for exactly this, I'll watch every video jev posts pretty much no matter what because i just like him as a person, I don't care about call of duty in the slightest but I've watched every cod video he's put out for a good 4-5 years
