When you just created your level 1 brand new character in GTA Online, you will notice that the game puts you in a public lobby. The best public lobby targeting mode is Free Aim targeting mode. You might 100% want to change your targeting mode for safer public lobbies to sell your business products peacefully in Free Aim targeting mode. To change your targeting mode go to story mode > pause menu > settings > controls > targeting mode and scroll to Free Aim targeting mode. Go back to pause menu > Online > Play Gta Online > Go.

Also, don't forget to create your 2nd character for double profits like Cayo Perico Heist times 2 and Dr Dre Vip Contract times 2. To do this go to pause menu > Online > swap character > go to level 1 (2nd character) > choose whether to copy rank from 1st character or start as a rank 1 > select copy rank from 1st character. This way, you get double the profits instead of facing the harder way to hire randoms to play with you. But by doing this, you will have to do the same thing twice, that means twice the effort.

If you are just getting started, you can get a duke death (armored vehicle) for free. After that these missions are a piece of cake

I’ve been playing since I was 12-13 (when the game came out) I’m 24 now and never paid attention to these starting at level 1 series because naturally playing so long I’m level 300+ with everything. My friends are still on the ps4 version so I downloaded it and didn’t know they would make me create a new character starting at level 1 so I thank you for this series. Starting at level 1 with no stats is way rougher than I remember too 😂

At first, when you create a new character and just starting out your 1st day in GTA Online, the game is gonna put you in a public session by default. To avoid this, go to pause menu > Online > Find New Session > Invite Only Session. Of course before this step set your spawn location to your Apartment if you have one, i recommend only the cheapest high end apartment at Del Perro at starting price of 200k

In my opinion, maybe the faster way for a beginner to get to 2.2M (in order to start Cayo Perico) is to get a friend, and keep playing fleeca job. The route you show is OK, but the drug war series is not very friendly to solo beginner player in my opinion, and it does not give you fast money as well (yes you earned the acid lab, but that's not fast money, and it takes you long to get to 2.2M with that)
On the other hand, the fleeca job, although doesn't pay very much (250k for 2 players, roughly 20-30 minutes), this makes faster money as long as you get a friend, and is probably the easiest heist in GTA online.
