This is the first video I watched, I am forever grateful for presents of the sowards family in our life. Watching their videos is my treat in the middle of raising young babies and our own food. We’ve shared many cups of coffee in the wee hours of the morning. 💕

The advantage to "homeateading" is being able to stay in one place, know where your next meal is coming from, and feed unemp.oyeds and/or unemployables you know in return for their labor.

I love your advice on selling eggs! Chickens are expensive to keep especially when they stop laying. I used to have a chicken rotation going where I would sell my 2-3 year layers to a family that wanted chickens and get chicks for new layers for eggs every year since the chickens are most fertile their first 2 years. It did work for a little while. Also I made sure I bought chicken breeds that are know for starting their laying cycle at 4 months instead of 6 months.

Selling baby goat kids does not make decent money anymore because in 2020 I think too many people got into goats so now there are too many baby goats and not enough buyers.

Definitely like your old videos like this one more than the new ones. These are more down to earth and relatable to the commoner. Seems like In the new videos y’all have it made and have money now so it’s not as relatable to the folks who don’t. Not everyone can have that. Love that you do, but it’s just not relatable anymore. This video is where it’s at.

You have over half a million subscribers. You have no money problems now. Youtube is paying you plenty. But 2 or 3 incubators. You got the money. And this was 4 years ago.

By announcing that you barter, do you report it as taxable income? You're letting the IRS know.
